Concerns having the ability for providing a Residential Comprehensive Sanctions Center facility(s) for Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, training opportunities and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Del Rio, Texas area. Estimated number of inmate days are 13,140 for the base period; 6,570 inmate days for the first, second, third option years, respectively (males 83%, females 17%). Estimated RFP issue date is September 25, 1997, estimated RFP closing date is November 25, 1997. Contract base period is two years with three one-year options to renew. A requirements contract is anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
