J -- CONTRACTOR LOGISTICS SUPPORT, SUPPORT SERVICES, MATERIAL AND ENGINEERING SUPPORT FOR THE FAIRCHILD MODEL SA227DC AIRCRAFT SOL N00019-97-R-0047 DUE 101497 POC Rosa Harding, Contract Specialist/301-757-8976, Carole Romary, Contracting Officer/301-757-8963 The Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement for the provision of total Contractor Logistics Support for seven (7) C-26D Aircraft that were recently acquired from the Air Force. Support services and engineering support will be required for approximately 3000 flight hours on an interim basis only until a competitive solicitation is issued. Duration of performance is a six (6) month base period and two (2) three (3) month option periods. Individual delivery orders will be issued to initiate tasking and to specify deliverables and delivery dates. In accordance with FAR 6.302.2, a sole source requirements (IDIQ) contract award to Fairchild Aircraft Incorporated, Original Equipment Manufacturer, is anticipated to fulfill the Navy's immediate requirement.
