R -- NON-PERSONAL SUPPORT SERVICES SOL N61339-97-R-0047 DUE 091797 POC Jean Borowski,407/380-4261 The U.S. Army Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM) is currently planning an acquisition for non-personal support services covering all of the functional activities (e.g., Engineering, Logisitics, Acquisition, Legal, Program Management, etc.) performed by STRICOM, except those that are considered inherently Government functions. LAN Maintenance functions will not be included in this acquisition. STRICOM Regulation 10-1, which is being made available to all interested parties, describes the organizations, missions, and functions performed by STRICOM. The Standard Industrial Code for this acquisition is 8711, and the small business standard size is $20 million. It is contemplated that the contract will begin on date of award, continue through the end of the fiscal year, and contain 5 option years. Special Non-Disclosure statements and Conflict of Interest clauses are anticipated. It is also contemplated that prospective offerors possess a sufficient clearance level to maintain a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) capable of storing classified data. The solicitation is planned for release in November 1997.
