Notice of intent to issue a modification against orders #40ABNF600864 and #40ABNF600863 with R2 Resource Consultants. R2 completed Biological Opinions for the Grouse Creek and Beartrack Mines. The U.S. Forest Service did not incorporate many of R2's recommendations in its biological opinion, requiring R2 to duplicate much of its earlier work. Work to be performed under proposed modifications will allow R2 to complete its biological opinions not contemplated when contract was awarded.
