U -- EDUCATIONAL VIDEO SERIES SOL F01600-97-R0024 DUE 092397 POC Mary Peters, 334-953-3529/MSgt Ossandon, 334-953-7212 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number is F0160097R0024; award will be made using Request for Proposal (RFP) acquisition procedures. The standard industrial classification is 7822 and the small business standard is $14.5M. The requirement is for HQ AFROTC/DOJE, Maxwell AFB AL. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. Solicitation line item 0001: Video Series consisting of several individual units addressing various subject matter relating to developing a higher self esteem, a positive attitude, goal setting, and what to do with one's life. The video series consists of material directed to secondary school students and will be used as a supplement for the Air Force Junior ROTC curriculum and the Leadership Program. The quantity is 125 sets. The suggested series, "Unlocking Your Potential" by Edge Learning Institute, consists of 14 units with the following titles: Unit 1: "You've Always Had the Potential", Unit 2: "You're Born to Win"; Unit 3: "The Most Amazing Computer of All"; Unit 4: "Designing Your Personal Ad Campaign"; Unit 5: "Self-Esteem: Know You're Good and Wear It Well"; Unit 6: "Overcoming Fear of Failure"; Unit 7: "Keys to Increasing Your Self Confidence"; Unit 8: "Improving Your Chances for Success"; Unit 9: "Charting Your Own Course"; Unit 10: "Leadership Qualities That Get Results"; Unit 11: "What Every Employer Looks For"; Unit 12: "Communicate Like a Pro"; Unit 13: "Exercising Your Power to Choose"; Unit 14: "Developing Winning Habit Patterns". Similar video series will be considered for evaluation. Delivery is 30 days ARO. Delivery is to be made to ECI Warehouse, 50 East Turner Blvd,MAFB-Gunter Annex AL 36118-5643. Inspection and acceptance is at MAFB-Gunter Annex AL. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors -- Commercial Items (Jun 97), and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (May 97) apply to this acquisition. There is no addenda to those provisions. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Oct 95): The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) Video material will be evaluated by AFJROTC educational personnel to determine if content is an appropriate suppleemnt to the established AFJROTC curriculum and Leadership Program; (ii) price; (iii) delivery. The vendor responding to this acquisition should provide this office with the following: a price quote on company letterhead for the requested item, unit price, extended price, FOB, prompt payment terms, delivery date, and correct remittance address. All offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (May 97) as well as a completed copy of DFAR 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (Nov 95) with their offer. A company not in possession of these provisions may contact this office and a copy will be faxed to you.
