X -- SUBSCRIPTION FULFILLMENT AND WAREHOUSE SERVICES SOL CC-97-R-0021 POC Boyd Greene, Contract Specialist (202) 874-5442 The Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has a requirement for a qualified service company to provide subscription fulfillment services including storage, data entry, inventory reporting, producing notices, and distributing printed materials and videotapes. The supplier will be responsible for warehousing and mailing publications, issues, or supplements sold after the initial shipping by the printer as well as existing OCC publications. The perspective contractor will also be required to assemble loose-leaf publications with all updated supplements prior to mailing. Sufficient computer controlled inventory methods will be required such that OCC can have access to accurate inventory records during business hours. It is anticipated that the solicitation CC-97-R-0021 will be released in early October with offers due approximately 30 days after. Offerors are advised to refer to the issued solicitation for precise dates. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated with a basic period of performance (1998) plus four, one-year option periods. Evaluation of award will be based on technical superiority over cost. This is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The SIC Code for this requirement is 4225 and the Small Business Size Standard is $18.5 million. All responsible sources within a 70 mile radius of OCC headquarters (see address below) may submit a proposal which will be considered by the OCC.
