66 -- LABORATORY EQUIPMENT POC Kevin Merriweather, 202-927-7716 The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF) has a requirement for the purchase of 1 EA: Triple stage Quadruple MS/MS System with a mass range of 10 -- 4000 micro mass, coupled with particle beam (PB), atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI), electrospray ionization (ESI) interfaces, loop injector and CE/MS interface kit. Must be capable of EI/CI/NCI, desorption chemical ionization (DCI) probe, and direct insertion probe. The programmable gas chromatograph (GC) should have an autosampler, split/splitless injector and interface and cyrogenic cooling inlet. Data system should have a minimum of 180mhz pentium pro, 48mb RAM, 4gb hard drive, 3.5" 1.44mb disk drive, PCI graphics card, 12x cd-rom, tape drive back-up, SCSI controller card, ethernet cards, super VGA 21" color monitor, keyboard, mouse, Microsoft NT operating system, Microsoft Office 97, laserjet 6 printer with 600 dpi resolution and NIST or WILEY library. Full demonstration of specifications shall be given prior to award. Demonstration of the system in the following configurations is required: LC/MS-MS operation with PB, APCI and ESI interfaces. GC/MS-MS operation in EI/CI modes and direct insertion probe. 90 day warranty on all items required. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used for this requirement.
