The Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP) intends to procure Heat Shrinkable Film for packaging U.S. Currency. The BEP anticipates award of a Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity type contract. The period of performance will be for one 12-month base period plus four 12-month option periods. The RFP will be available on or about September 23, 1997. The BEP's total Heat Shrinkable Film requirement is for approximately 26,860,000 linear feet in each year of the contract. Interested firms are required to submit a written request for a copy of this RFP. Please submit the request within 15 calendar days of this announcement.
