E-MAIL: Ken W. Adams, kadams@ems.jsc.nasa.gov. NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Cycle Ergometer for International Space Station (ISS). NASA/JSC intends to purchase this item from KRUG Life Sciences Inc. KRUG Life Sciences is currently under contract to design, develop, test, evaluate and integrate two cycle ergometer systems for ISS. Based on experience gained in developing and delivering the initial units, KRUG Life Sciences is uniquely qualified to deliver this additional duplicate cycle ergometer unit in time to support the compressed delivery schedule. Delivery of this cycle ergometer must be no later than April 1998 to support mission 6A crew training. See numbered Note 26.
