No proposals or capability statements are sought or will be considered for this procurement. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is negotiating a noncompetitive contract with Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) for the placement of this Savannah River Site work at the Center for Nuclear Waste Regulatory Analyses (CNWRA), a division of SwRI and the NRC's Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC). The work will involve technical assistance to the NRC to support the NRC's review of the DOE's waste classification methodology and to support an analysis of the applicable guidance. The proposed period of performance is approximately three months. This action is being negotiated on a noncompetitive basis with SwRI to maintain essential capabilities at the CNWRA(SEE FAR 6.302 -3(b)(2).
