Noto (504)589-6678 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitaion will not be issued. Solicitation number GS-07P-97-DRC-0132 is issued as a request for proposal. The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. Sic code S203. This procurement is issued under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is unrestricted. List of contract line items: QUANTITY CAPACITY PICKUP SCHEDULE Hale Boggs Federal 1 30 CY Compactor Twice weekly (Tues. & Fri.) Building/Courthouse (Govt. owned) Before 6:30 a.m. Customhouse 2 3 CY Daily before 6:00 a.m. Mon. thru Fri., excluding Federal holidays Hebert Federal 1 20 CY As needed, not to exceed Building 6 pickups per month Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, and supervision to provide solid waste disposal and/or removal services as outlined above. All solid waste shall have been removed from the premises. Overflow of trash from containers shall be picked up from around the area used to collect the solid waste. All solid waste collected as a requirement of this contract shall be removed from the premises and transported to a processing facility for the purpose of remanufacturing or recycling to the extent possible. Container requirements: Customhouse and Hebert Buildings -- Containers must be of metal with lids. Containers for these two buildings will be maintained, painted, and kept in good condition by the contractor. All repairs will be the responsibility of the contractor. The provisions FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, and 52.212-2(Evaluation Criteria-Past performance and Price) applies to this acquisition. Include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3.
