This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number Request For Proposal (RFP) 673-92-97 is assigned and shall be referenced on any proposals. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-01. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7539 and the business size standard is 3.5 million. Provide all labor and materials and installation necessary to completely adapt a 1998 Ford E-150 Van for the transportation of handicapped persons. The specific adaptive equipment shall be the same or equal to the following list: Ricon S1230 Fully Automatic Wheelchair Lift, Ricon Side Power Door Operators, Outside Lock Box with Switches,Magnetic Outside Control Switches, Viking TV Fiberglass Roof with Roof Support System and Exterior Paint, Extended Side Cargo Doors, Lowered Floor -- 8" in. Failure to submit technical data shall be grounds for rejection of proposal. All potential offerors shall submit data sufficient to evaluate the responsiveness of the offering company. Evaluation areas shall be: 1) number of years in business, 2) Past performance, 3) Capabilities to perform the services required. All evaluation factors have a value of approximately the same as price. Proposals shall be submitted on an "all or none basis." Partial proposals shall be rejected. All potential offerors shall be available to perform modifications immediately.
