combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in
accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.6 as supplemented
with additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and
A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number for
the request for quotation is ACL-7-Q-0086. This solicitation document
and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through
Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. This solicitation is issued on an
unrestricted basis under SIC Code is 5865 and the size standard is 750
employees. Requirements for Camper Surveillance Platform: Require a
camper that fits securely into a standard full size pickup truck bed.
Camper to be insulated for both sound and temperature control. Require
Gel cell batteries with approximately 30 hours of operating time at a
minimum load of 8 amps. This system to include a gel cell battery
charger of the pulsed input type. Electrical System: All wiring to be
in steel conduit (flexible or rigid), all UL approved; All power is
controlled through buss switches; All cables, both audio and video, to
be 100% shielded; All wiring to be multi-stranded; Control Panel
requires 12vdc meter, 12vdc amp meter, equipment breaker switches,
12vdc power outlets and 24 hour clock. Require three (3) input video
switcher and video patch panel with BNC connectors. The patch panel to
be properly labeled. Require audio distribution for a minimum of four
(4) inputs. 12vdc and 110vac interior lighting. Required electronic
equipment: One CCD low light color camera 1.5 lux; One CCD low light
black and white camera .5 lux; One 9" color monitor (12vdc); One VHS
time lapse recorder; One motion detector; One video switcher; One
scanner, 25 to 1850 mhz; One 16 to 160mm motorized lens F1.8; One 18 to
108mm manual lens F1.8; One 2x lens extender. The provision at FAR
52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (JUN 1997) applies.
Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 (JUN 1997) Paragraph (b)(5). Offers shall
provide an express warranty which at a minimum shall be the same
warranty terms including offers of extended warranties, offered to the
general public. Express warranties shall be included in the contract.
