The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 3827. This is a sole source procurement to Litton Systems Inc,Electro-Optical Systems Division,12155 52nd St Tempe Az 85281, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c). Since Litton Industries is the original manufacture of the PVS-7C goggle, they are uniquely qualified to provide the Image Intensifier Tube that it must interface with. The requirement is for 40 each Image Intensifier Tubes, part number 0240940-002, for the PVS-7C Night Vision Goggle. The required delivery date is 01, December 1997. The award will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Shipping terms will be negotiated as FOB destination.
