65 -- OXFORD MEDILOG VISION DIGITAL REPLAY AND ANALYSIS SYSTEM DUE 091997 POC Rita Delgado (818) 895-9357 The Department of Veterans Affairs, 16111 Plummer Street, Sepulveda, California intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Oxford Instruments, 11526 53rd Street North, Clearwater, Florida 34620, to purchase a Oxford Medilog Vision Digital Replay and Analysis System and Digital Ambulatory EEG Recorder. This system meets the government's minimum needs of 17-channel EEG capability; reformats montages after they have been recorded; time-locked video capability; efficient storage capability of 2.6 gigabyte optical disks -- holds up to five 24-hour recordings; and is digital. This is not a request for proposals, however, all concerns able to meet the above requirements shall demonstrate their capability in writing to this office by September 19, 1997. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation package will be issued. (0254)
