The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis annual maintenance on the following software items as manufactured and provided by Wind River Systems Inc under software license agreement number 7784: VxWorks Developers License Annual Maintenance SUN4 X Motorola PowerPC, 20-user license product number 130-1024 (1 year); Windview Annual Maintenance, 2-user license product number 131-1716-0001 (1 year); stethoscope annual maintenance, 2-user license product number 130-1041 (1 year); visicom maintenance (Vx Windows) product number 130-1731 (1 year); under license agreement 7785; complete VxWorks source updates product number 130-1031-WO (1 year); VxWindows source code updates product number 130-1031-WIN (1 year); and under license agreement number 3300; VxWorks Developers license for SUN3 SUN4 Solaris x 680X0 product number 130-1024 (1 year); Windview Software support 2-user license product number 131-1716-0001 (1 year). The maintenance support shall consist of unlimited telephone support Monday thru Friday excluding Government holidays, during the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm pacific time and shall include updates as released. The period of performance shall be from date of award for a one year period. The software is located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448. The Government requires this software maintenance to support Information and Control Division programs. This software is proprietary to Wind River Systems Inc as they are the manufacturer and only source to provide the maintenance as requested. The operating system for the Government teting and developing programs was specifically designed to run on this software. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources shall provide their software maintenance agreement with their fax quote which shall be considered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA 22448.
