C -- OPEN END INDEFINITE DELIVERY ARCHITECT AND ENGINEERING SERVICES SOL DAHA04-97-R-0011 DUE 101797 POC Major Charles Clemens, (805) 594-6382 Open End (Indefinite Delivery) contract for architectural/engineering services for various architectural, electrical, mechanical and civil engineering projects (Type A and at government option B and C services) for design of various projects at the Air National Guard Base at Channel Islands, Sepulveda, and March ARB as may be ordered for a period of one year after contract award with an option to extend services for an additional year. The A/E will receive a minimum of $5,000 design fees, no individual delivery order shall exceed $300,000 and total fees under the resultant contract shall not exceed $750,000 annually. Work will include the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates and backup on disk (AUTOCAD) for each project. Projects may include repair, maintenance, alteration, and construction of pavement and drainage facilities, exterior and interior painting, roofing maintnenace and replacement, structural alerations of buildings, (industrial and office buildings), rehabilitation offacilities, building additions, maintnenace of HVAC systems, utility distribution systems, including electrical, gas, and water, repair/replacement of heating and air conditioning, master planning, various surveys, and any other approved projects etc. The A/E will be tasked by the issue of individual delivery orders placed against the basic contract. Above noted work may require the plans and specifications to include the safe handling and proper disposal of hazardous wastes such as asbestos, lead paint, PCB's, etc. All final plans are to be completed using the latest version of AUTOCAD. Evaluation and selection of the firm will be based on the following selection criteria: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) specialized experience and competence in the type of work required; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4) Past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules; (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; (6) Volume of DOD work previously awarded to the firm. Type of the contract will be firm- fixed price. This is an unrestricted announcement. A/E firms which meet requirements described in this announcement and wish to be considered must submit SF 254 and SF255 data. The due date for SF 254 and SF255 submission is thirty (30) calendar days from the date this announcement is published, 2:00 PM.
