The United States Agency for International Development is seeking applications for a two year Cooperative Agreement(s), from qualifying U.S. organizations. This Cooperative Agreement(s) will fund a program of Humanitarian and Transition Assistance to vulnerable groups in the Abkhazia region of the Republic of Georgia. No fee is allowable and no fee will be paid under this CA. The RFA, when issued, will provide the final information on the closing date. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet. If that is not possible, an applicant may request the solicitation on a 3.5" floppy disk (WordPerfect 5.1/5.2 format). The RFA and any future amendments thereto can be downloaded from the Agency Web Site. The WorldwideWeb address is http://www.info.usaid.gov. Select "Business and Procurement Opportunities" from the home page, then "USAID Procurements". On the following screen, select "Download Available USAID Solicitations". The RFA text can also be downloaded via Anonymous File Transfer Protocol (FTP). The FTP address is FTP.INFO.USAID.GOV. Logon using the user identification of "anonymous" and the password is your e-mail address. Look under the following directory for the addenda: pub/OP/RFA/MOP98004/mop98004.rfa.
