A firm, fixed price contract will be awarded to a single prime contractor. Work will include cleaning, tuckpointing, and sealing of masonry veneer; replacement of window sealant joints; rework of brick sill and flashing; and interior testing, adjusting, and balancing of portions of the HVAC System. Cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1799. All work is to be completed with 90 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Plans and specifications will be available o/a 9/30/97. Bid opening is at 2:00 pm CST on 10/29/97 in Room 1-G134 at the VA Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee.
