The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure military family housing maintenance services for Bolling AFB, DC. Anticipated contract will be indefinite quantity, with a base period of six months and four, one-year option periods. Base period fo performance is 1 Apr 98 through 30 Sep 98. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. SIC is 8744. Small business size standard is $5.0 million. The contractor will provide all albor, supervision, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation to provide military family housing maintenance services for approximately 1385 housing units, including 38 general officers' quarters and 17 senior officers' quarters, as defined in the performance work statement. This notice is for both the draft RFP and the final RFP. The draft request for proposals will be issued to interested parties for industry comment on or about 6 October 1997. The request for proposals will will tentatively be issued on 29 October 1997 with proposals tentatively due on 1 December1997. A pre-proposal conference will be held. Date of conference included in the final RFP. Qualified, responsible offerors may submit an offer. Detailed technical proposals outlining offeror's relevant, related experience, ability to hire qualified, certified electricians, HVAC mechanics, plumbers, and journeymen, and past performance information must be included in the technical proposal.
