The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is seeking to identify sources who are capable of installing HARDGLASS 10 mil, three ply clear security window film on the interior of windows. This is "DAYLIGHT" installation. The film must have the following properties and characteristics: Film is 10 mil, 3 ply polyester window film, manufactured with 1 mil high impact-resistance acrylic mounting adhesive and a hardcoat scratch-resistant protective coating. Peel strength: 2800 grams/in of width. Thickness: 11 mils (APPLIED). Tensile strength 238 PLi/43kg/cm. Elongation at break: 175% Film shall meet the following standards: ASTM D2582 Puncture Test: 174#s ave.; ANSI 297.1/1984; 16 CFR, '10'CAT II (without tearing); fire proof/self extinguishing below 500-509 degrees F. Product literature must be accompanied by specific product tests results conducted by an independent laboratory. All products must meet Level "D" or higher Security Design Criteria.
