MULTIFUNCTIONAL DISPLAY (CMFD), AND (EUPDG) ON BLOCK 50/52 AIRCRAFT SOL

System Program Office (SPO), ASC/YPKKB, intends to issue an RFP to
produce and integrate the Modular Mission Computer(MMC), Color
Multifunctional Display (CMFD), and Enhance Upgraded Programmable
Display Generator (EUPDG) on to 239 Block 50/52 aircraft. These systems
will be acquired using a performance based specification. The
contractor will be responsible for the installed system functional
performance at the Avionics System Segment Specification level for the
aircraft. The F-16 SPO is not able to provide tooling, facilities, or
design and fabrication drawings/data. Contract requirements include:
1) Group A kit fabrication, 2) Group B fabrication, 3) kit proof
support activities, 4) Support core avionics software integration and
installed system functional demonstration, 5) Peculiar support
equipment and software, 6) Technical orders and time compliance
technical orders, 7) initial spares, 8) Technical product baseline
maintenance, including obsolete parts resolution, 9) Capable of
providing logistics support and repair of all systems. Lockheed Martin
Tactical Aircraft Systems is the intended source pursuant to the
authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (1). Direct all requests concerning this

The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate
serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to
use established channels to communicate his/her concerns during the
proposal development phase of this acquisition. Potential offerors
should use established channels to request information, pose questions,
and voice concerns before resorting to use of the Ombudsman. Potential
