Enclosed cabin for two crew, plus four passengers. -- In fully loaded condition (1200 pound payload): (Maintain mobility through or over solid ice, open water (seas up to 3 feet), slush, broken ice, or snow covered ice, in winds up to 25knots). (Transit effectively from ice to open water, and from open water to ice; stability to resist capsizing in the event of partial breakthrough during transitions). -- Resistant to puncture and fatigue when traversing broken ice (ridged to 12") at 15 mph. -- Operate on smooth surfaces with sustained 30 mph speed for 3 hrs. without refueling. -- Trailerable. Capable of launch and recovery by two person crew onto ice, snow, or open water. -- Resistant to icing from wind driven spray and from condensation. -- Capable of supporting communications and navigation electronics. Low friction hull surface or coating to resist freeze-in. 5. Inboard mounted engine, (stability issue), gas or diesel powered capable or generating 350hp. 6. Adjustable pitch composite propeller. 7. Propeller guard. 8. Steering rudder. 9. 25 gallon fuel capacity. 10. Braking system capable of controlled deceleration on smooth ice surface. 11. Conventional steering and throttle controls. (i.e. steering wheel or helm, hand operated "morse" control or foot operated throttle...). 12. Guage and alarm package to monitor engine rpm, engine temp, engine L/O pressure, charging system operation. 13. Length 18-21'; beam 7-8'. 14. Weight not to exceed 3200 lbs. 15. Payload capacity 1200 lbs. minimum. 16. Enclosed or "convertible" cabin, capable of carrying six seated passengers. 17.
