This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to negotiate with Grayson Electronics Company, on a sole source basis, for the purchase of one each of the following: GMM-500 GEC Mainframe w/handset interface, GMM-002 NAVTRACKER internal GPS, GMK-200 QCP800 handset interface, GMS-SR2 Surveyor for CDMA, GMA-CA Cigarette lighter adapter, GMA-HC Hard shipping case, one year software update service for Surveyor, and a three year warranty for this equipment. These items will be delivered to the Federal Bureau of Investigation office located in Quantico, Virginia. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 90-46. The proposed procurement will be conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for other than maximum competition. This is a small business-small purchase set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 3669, and the size standard is based on employees numbering less than 750.
