synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. Site visit is scheduled on 23 Sep 97
at 2:00 PM PST at Building 588 on Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, Nv. Quotations
are due on or before 25 Sep 97 2:00 PM PST. Service description as
follows; Nonpersonal service to provide a preventive maintenance
agreement/weekly inspections on wash racks and water storage recycling
systems for a period of 1 Oct 97 thorough 30 Sep 98. All service and
inspections required during the term of this contract shall be in
accordance with manufacturer's commercial practice and shall include
but not be limited to cleaning, adjusting, supplying all needed
chemicals, filters, filter media, and environmental control soaps. In
addition the contractor shall provide repairs and replacement parts to
pumps, burners, controls, motors, wands, and hoses etc. where needed
(excluding those damaged by abuse). Such service shall be furnished
Monday through Friday 0700 until 1530 NLT 24 hours after notification.
Only new standard parts or parts of equal quality shall be used in
effecting repairs. Item description: 1) Base Washrack, RGF Ultrasorb
System, Model SM2 2) Motorpool (North side), RGF Ultrasorb System,
Model OWS-50 3) Motorpool (SW side), RGF Ultrasorb System, Model OWS-20

Ultrasorb System, Model SM 2 The SIC for this solicitation is 1711.
This solicitation (F26600 97Q8206) is issued as a Request for
Quotation. This procurement is reserved for small business concerns,
utilizing the size standard in FAR 19 under Standard Industrial Code
8999. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and
clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46.

applies to this solicitation. Evaluation of offers will be based on
price, delivery and installation time, and best value. The clause at
