This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a request for quote will not be issued. The acquisition includes the following services: (CLIN 0001, Contractor to provide tests for Valley Fever on approximately 70 specimens per month. Specimens will be transported to contractors facility by Government personnel. Contractors test facility must be located no more than 70 miles from Edwards AFB CA. Test results will be mailed to the Edwards AFB hospital by and at the expense of the contractor. Period of performance is 6 Oct 97 through 30 Sep 98. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 97-1.
