This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a request for quote will not be issued. The solicitation number is F0470097T6153. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 97-1. This acquisition is unrestricted100% small business set aside; the standard industrial classification code is 8071. The size standard is $5M. The acquisition includes the following services: (CLIN 0001, Contractor to provide blood tests and prenatal alpha fetoprotein screening to include analysis for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), Unconjugated Estriol (UE3) and Alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP) on on approximately 35 samples per month. Samples will be either mailed or transported by courier to contractors facility by the Government. Test results will be mailed to the Edwards AFB hospital by and at the expense of the contractor. Period of performance is 6 Oct 97 through 30 Sep 98.
