The National Science Foundation has a requirement to print its "NSF Frontiers" newsletter. This 2-color publication prints black and 1 Pantone color (as marked) on 80# Lithofect dull or comparable recycled text stock (white). The trim size is 21.59 cm x 27.94 cm (81/2" x 11"). This newsletter is printed 10 to 11 times annually, and the print will be at least 20,000 copies per issue. The contractor has 8 full business days to print this job (3 days bluelines, 5 days final). This time-frame does not include NSF's review time which ranges from 2 to 3 business days. Contractor performance includes manipulation of electronic files, copy and/or disk(s) pickup, blueline delivery and picku, printing, and final delivery of printed product to 2 or 3 different locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area (one location is Annapolis Juntion, MD). It is preferred that interested contractors be located within 100 kilometer (62) miles radius of the NSF Headquarters located at 4201 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia. Any bidder intending to use production facilities outside this area will be required to furnish information, with their bid, which will on its face demonstrate the ability to meet the schedule requirements. This acquisition is 100% small business-aside. The SIC code for this acquisition is 2721 "Periodicals: Publishing, or Publishing and Printing," size standard of not more than 500 employees.
