The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate with AIL Systems Inc., Deer Park, New York to procure the third production lot of the AN/ALQ-99 Universal Exciter Upgrade (UEU). If awarded, the contract will contain a basic buy of approximately 78 UEU systems, associated data, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), spares and a priced option for approximately 103 UEUs, data, ILS and spares. AIL Systems Inc., is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the AN/ALQ-99 Universal Exciter Upgrade and the only known source that can meet program schedule requirements.
