MULTI-MEDIA PROJECTORS AND CARRYING CASES. This is a combined
announcement and quotation. The applicable clauses and provisions will
be made a part of the awarded document. The Government intends to
award to the responsible contractor whose quotation is the Best Value
to the Government. The quotation will be evaluated on the following
items technical, delivery time and price. Do not include shipping in
price. The shipping will be a separate line item, and cost will be
negotiated with the resultant contractor. ONLY ONE AWARD WILL BE MADE.
The FAA is accepting quotes from Ten (10) known sources, in addition
to soliciting Ten (10) vendors on a "first come" basis only from this
announcement. Quotation should include company Name, POC, Telephone and
FAX Numbers, DUN #, Business Classification and price. Quotation must
be received no later than 3:00 p.m., Friday, Septemeber 19, 1997.

informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged
Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of
Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to
assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to
acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for
transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible
prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program
enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to
1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on
the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available
under the DOT Short Term Lending Programs (STLP), at prime interest
rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximun line of
