Baccaro, Purchasing Agent, (209) 982-2430 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation is being issued as Requisition Number 72383069. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. This requirement is being set aside for small business for which the Standard Industrial Classification Code is 2653 and small business standard of 500. Line Item 0001: 2900 BD., Box, Fiberboard, RSC, 23-3/4"L x 13"W X 8-3/4"D (inside dimensions), Type CF, Weather Resistant, Variety SW, Grade V3C, 15 each per bundle, knocked down, carton shall be left handed. Constructed IAW ASTM D5118/D5118 M-90, ASTM D4727/D4727 M-91, MIL-STD-129 (Marking for Shipment & Storage) and MIL-STD-147 (Palletized Unit Loads). Each box shall be marked w/box makers certificate/name, month and year of mfg. (ex 9-97), individual grade or identification symbols specification compliance data, spec. number and min. avg. bursting strength. Pallet loads shall be marked IAW MIL-STD-129 to include, NSN, Nomenclature, Qty & Unit of Issue, Contract Number. Palletization & strapping shall be IAW standard commercial practice (NSN: 811500L101158). Line Item 0002: 990 BD., Pad, Fiberboard, 23-1/2"L x 12-7/8"W, Type CF, Variety SW, Class Weather Resistant, Grade W5C, 30 each per bundle, to be constructed IAW ASTM D4727/D4727 M-91 and pallatized IAW Mfg. commercial practice. Each bundle shall be marked with the following information clearly: NSN, Nomenclature, Qty., Unit of Issue, Contract Number and Mfg. (NSN: 811500L102427). Line Item 0003: 3800 BD., Fiberboard, Reinforcement Partition (liner) inside dimensions 48-3/4"L X 8-5/8"H, 30 each per bundle, fiberboard shall be constructed IAW ASTM D4727/D4727M-91, Corrugated and Solid Sheet Stock (Container Grade) and Cut Shapes, Type CF (Corrugated Fiberboard); Class, Weather-Resistant, Grde V3C, Variety SW (Single Wall), With "B" Flutes. Flutes shall be vertical. The reinforced fiberboard partition liners shall be constructed IAW ASTM D5118/D5118M-90, Fabrication of Fiberboard shipping Boxes latest edition. A tolerance of +0-1/8 inch on the outside score dimensions is permitted. Liners shall be assemble with a 1 inch manufactured glued lap joint (drawing available upon request) (NSN: 811500L102547). Each bundle shall be marked IAW MIL-STD-129. Line Item 0004: 273 BD., Box Fiberboard, RSC, 27" X 17" X 14", (Inside Dim) made IAW ASTM D5118 and ASTM D1974 and changes. Dbl faced, Domestic, Type CF, SW, 275 PSI Bursting Strength, 25 each per bundle, and conform to MIL-STD-129 Marking for shipment (NSN: 8115006094287). Delivery Date: 30 days after receipt of order.
