D -- SOFTWARE LICENSE RENEWAL SOL DCA20098M0393 DUE 092297 POC Art Kruse 618-256-9735 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to Diversified Software; 18635 Sutter Blvd.; Morgan Hill, CA 95037, for the acquisition of software maintenance for the following proprietary products: DOCU/TEST-EXTENDED FUNCTION; DOCU/TEXT-ANALYSIS DOCUMENTS; DOCU/TEXT-FLOWCHARTER; DOCU/TEXT-OPERATIONS DOCUMENT and JOB/SCAN. These software products are currently installed on equipment located at the DMC in Mechanicsburg, PA. Period of performance for the maintenance is 1 Oct 97 through 30 Sep 98. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance must indicate their interest within 5 days of this announcement. Any party interested in receiving the pricing request shall provide written notice tothe Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-256-9414 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals. All responses to the pricing request from responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the award of the contract. The resultant contract will be firm, fixed price.
