Hall, Contracting Officer, 303/236-5412 X232 Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct two wood pile retaining walls consisting of environmentally safe Wolmanized pole timbers and wood lagging. Retaining wall A and B shall be constructed in lengths of 200 and 180 lineal feet each, respectively. Timber poles shall be 25 feet in length overall, spaced 6 feet on center and driven 17 feet below grade. The vertical height of wood lagging shall be 6 feet. The pole timbers shall extend two feet above the top of the wood lagging. The Government shall stake the endpoints of of each retaining wall. The contact period of performance is 30 calendar days from receipt of the notice to proceed. The estimated price range is $100,000 -- $250,000. This solicitation is not restricted. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered. The project site is the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge near Brigham City, Utah.
