HIGGINBOTHAM (205) 235-7323 (Site Code DAAC01) Contractor shall be responsible for providing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials for performing the work to install new lightning protection in the I-Block. The work shall consist of replacing 2 each single phase primary (7200 volt) poles with new 40 foot class 4 poles, replacing 3 each 3 wire secondary (120/240 volt) poles with new 35 foot class 4 poles, install new 35 each primary pole grounds, and 76 each secondary pole grounds complete, install new 37 each 9 kv MOV type surge lightning arrestors, replace 10 each pin insulators with new 10 each 15 kv pin insulators, replace 198 each #6 gnd conductor with 198 each new 100 amp copper braid, and install new 976 each individual MOV's for IDS signal lines or approved equal. Contractor shall arrange work so as to keep interruption and interference with depot operations to an absolute minimum. The Estimated project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. One Job. Job is to be performed at the Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama, 36201. Completion time to be within 120 calendar days after date of notice to proceed.
