This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written quotation will not be issued. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 90-46. The Television Audio Support Activity (T-ASA) intends to procure the following items: Three (3) each 12-user ATM Switch, Forerunner LE155, custom configured for high speed switching, F/U/W Avid Newscutter Media Processor; three (3) each Software maintenance, provides free software upgrades and telephone, BBS, FAX access to Avid customer support for Avid model LE155 12 user ATM Switch, length one year; Date of delivery is within 90 days after contract award; Equipment installation and on-site training at various OCONUS locations; install Avid Newscutter Media Processor and ATM switch; provide three (3) days training for four (4) students; Delivery of install and training is within 60 days after delivery of equipment. Ship to: McClellan AFB, CA. The government anticipates negotiating and entering into a contract on a sole source basis with Avid Technology Inc., 700 13th Street, NW, Suite 950, Washington, DC 20005, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement.
