The Government intends to award a sole source purchase order to Southern Convention Services, 10446 County Line Road, Madison, AL 35758., for 1 ea Custom Built Fabricated Workstations and related equipment which is to be designed, constructed, and installed for the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command Sparkman Center, Electroic Meetings System Facility located in building 5309, third floor. Includes 24 ea Units 36D X 76W X 29.5H with two recessed monitor slots, 8 ea Units 36D X 38W X 29.5H with recessed monitor slot, 10 ea Angled/Corner Transition Work Surface Spacers 36D x various sizes wide to even rows x 29.5H, and 4 ea Row/End Surface Spacers 36D X various sizes wide to fit even rows and aisles x 29.5H. To be constructed of 3/4 inch plywood with outside, top, and edges of Formica. Some of the special features include, unique sizes of workstations with partially recessed area for monitors, must provide adequate workspace, an area for the PC keyboard on tabletop, rear underneath storage space for PC equipment, cabling area for connection to other PCs, and hinged or removable rear panels. Intended source is Southern Convention Services, since they are the only vendor that can provide the specially designed units with the required features within the required timeframes.
