the provision of 3,760 manhours per year on a cost plus fixed fee,
level of effort basis in support of research and development programs
under the auspices of the Patrol Wings Atlantic Detachment, Advanced
Maritime Projects Office (AMPO). Services are technical in nature and
will include research and development support in the functional areas
of Airborne Magnetics, scientific research and technology transition,
scientific data collection in an operational environment and associated
technical support. The work includes a diverse range of performance
based tasks for analytical research; operation and maintenance of
developmental systems; detailed analysis of overall systems to meet the
requirements of future data collection applications; identification and
analysis of emerging technologies to determine their applicability to
AMPO requirements; and the development of advanced surveillance and
data collection systems managed by AMPO. The scope of the contract
includes but is notlimited to: Operational and theoretical analytical
research development for application in the area of Airborne Magnetics;
preparation of test plans to translate experiment requirements into
designs and hardware; assistance in the design, development,
installation, and maintenance of experimental systems; analysis of
facilities operations; advanced surveillance concepts studies and
testing; hardware and software design review and configuration control
for advanced data collection and maritime surveillance systems;
detailed analysis of overall systems to meet the requirements of future
airborne surveillance and data collection applications; preparation of
programmatic documentation and participation in technical reviews;
conduct of or preparation for the conduct of workshops, symposiums and
conferences; and preparation of technical presentation materials for
publication. TOP SECRET FACILITY Clearance with TEMPEST is required.
Personnel performing under this contract must possess TOP SECRET
Clearance. The contractor must have SECRET holding capability. The
contract will provide for a base year and four one year options.All
