S -- - NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO WASHINGTON DEPT. OF FISH & WILDLIFE. Notice of intent to issue a sole source contract to the Washington State Dept. of Fish & Wildlife (WDFW). Proposed contractor will perform research as part of initial phase of a study to investigate reproductive success of captive reared coho salmon. The WDFW currently has stock of captively reared salmon at their Hurd Creek Hatchery on the Dungeness River system that will begin maturing during the fall of 1998. No other source capable of performing this work since WDFW currently has fish stocks. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000. Proposed contract period 9/97 through 7/98.
