Sampson, Contracting Officer This acquisition is a sole source acquisition and a 51 % Buy Indian set-aside in accordance with 25 U.S.C. 47 and current tribal government resolution . The Indian Health Service intends to negotiate with the Nez Perce Tribe a sole source firm fixed price contract. Construction of approximately 600 LF of 6-inch PVC water main, isolation valves, connection to existing water mains, one submersible pump, electrical controls, pump controls, water treatment building, overhead power and appurtenances. The anticipated contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. The period of performance is approximately 85 calendar days. Estimated range is $25,000 to $100,000. Payment bonds or acceptable alternative payment protection is required. Buy American Act applies. Indian preference in hiring, suppliers and subcontractors is required.
