615-313-2650, Contracting Officer. The USPFO for Tennessee contracting
office is looking for sources that can provide the following
equipment: Airport Ramp Sweeper, the unit must be of adequate size to
routinely clean a ramp surface (asphalt and cement) of over 15 acres;
have a sweeping arm capable of extending beyond body of sweeper and
raise or lower to other surfaces (above curbs); have flexible vacuum
hose able to reach areas inaccessible by sweeper vehicle; must have
sweeping path not less than 7 feet; equipment must be able to clean
near helicopters and within tight spaces within aircraft hangars; have
a brush system that works in conjuction with a vacuum system to
effectively remove small particles of gravel and stone over uneven
surfaces; have a filtration system that cycles dust created by sweeper
placing it in debris hopper; have a rust proof steel hopper capable of
holding a minimum of 2.0 cubic yards of debris; have operator cab with
driving lights, heater, air conditioning and hazard light; be equipped
with a diesel and/or JP8 powered engine sufficient to operate equipment
at peak performance. The government has determined that the Tennant
Model 830 meets the minimum needs of the government. Please contact
