Ware, 618-256-9590 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to solicit on a full and open competitive basis for the acquisition of the following computer equipment: a). 1 each Type III Degausser. Type III degausser should be rated to degauss magnetic media having a nominal coercivity of at least 750 oersteds; AC powered; provide capability to degauss floppies 3.5, 5.25, 4mm, 8mm, 3420, 3480, 3490, 16" reels and hard drives; must be NSA approved/certified; must be maintenance free; must have 12 month warranty; must perform certification testing of equipment per NSA/CSS Specification L-14-4-A guidelines, specifications and regulations. b). 1 each Type II Degausser. Type II degausser should be rated to degauss magnetic media having a nominal coercivity of at least 750 oersteds; AC powered; provide capability to degauss floppies 3.5, 5.25, 4mm, 8mm, 3420, 3480, 3490, 16" reels and hard drives; must be NSA approved/certified; mustbe maintenance free; must have 12 month warranty; must perform certification testing of equipment per NSA/CSS Specification L-14-4-A guidelines, specifications and regulations. c). 1 each .5 (IBM) computer reel, d). 1 each 3.5" floppy adapter; e). 1 each Universal hard drive; f). 1 each multipurpose small format (4mm, 8mm); g). 1 each multipurpose medium format (3490, 3480, 5.25 floppy); h). Annual certification of above equipment. These products are for use at the DCTF, Slidell, LA. Delivery is required 2 weeks ARO. Companies who can provide the above listed hardware must indicate their interest within 7 days of this announcement. Only datafax requests to 618-256-9592 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals.
