The Wright laboratory Manufacturing directorate Defense Production Act (DPA) Title III Program Office is hereby extending the due date for proposals for the DPA Power Semiconductor Switching Device (PSSD) Production Capability BAA 97-04-MTPD to 12 Nov 97, 1500 hours Eastern Standard Time. Additionally, the following paragraph (8) is added to Paragraph C-ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. (8) All float zone silicon material to be used in producing these devices must be procured from a domestic source, if available. The DPA defines domestic source as "a business concern that performs substantially all of the research and development, engineering, manufacturing, and production activities in the U.S. or Canada."
