(503) 808-4614 (Site Code DACW57) Requirements contract for dredging
and placement of material for Port Orford boat hoist area, Port Orford,
Curry County, Oregon. Use of the boat hoist, dock, or breakwater as
part of the dredging system requires the written permission of the Port
of Port Orford (heavy equipment is not allowed on the dock). Due to
severe wave conditions, bids based on using floating plant as a dredge
will not be accepted. Operations involving in-water approach ramp
construction shall not be permitted. Contractor to commence work on the
date of award and shall end on August 31, 1998, with an option to
extend two additional years in one year increments. Dredging will be
performed as needed during the November 01 to March 31 time frame in
order to maintain usable depths underneath the commercial boat hoist.
The Contractor will only be awarded a delivery order to mobilize to the
site when a need to dredge exists, and if mobilized at any time during
this time frame, the Contractor will demobilize on approximately March
31. Delivery orders will not be issued between April 01 and October 31.

range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Request for Proposal available
on or about October 7, 1997 at a cost of $20.00 per set. Tentative
proposal due date is November 7, 1997. This procurement is 100% small
business set- aside, the size standard for which is a concern,
including affiliates, having average annual sales or receipts of the
preceding three years not in excess of $13.5 million. Please indicate
