The Government is now requesting Initial & Revised offers for solicitation DAAE20-97-R-0022 in order to incorporate additional drawings. An amendment to the solicitation is being issued to establish a new closing to allow for additional offerors. Requirement is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity for an estimated 371 the first year and estimated outyear quantities of 1782, 1785, 1783 and 1783 for Firing Mechanism Assembly. FOB is Destination. For use on the M109A6 Self Propelled Howitzer (Paladin). First Article and Statistical Process Control is required. Estimated issue date is 20Oct97. The proposed contract will include a 50% option. Failure to properly address requests for solicitation in accordance with this CBD notice will result in non-receipt of the solicitation package.
