D -- PROPRIETARY SOFTWARE LICENSE RENEWALS AND MAINTENANCE SOL DCA20098Q0027 DUE 092697 POC Art Kruse 618-256-9735 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to Unisys Corporation, Government Systems Division; 8008 Westpark Drive, McLean VA 22102-3106, for the acquisition of multiple software license renewals and software maintenance for proprietary software products. These software products are currently installed on Unisys equipment located at the DMCs in Denver, CO; Jacksonville, FL and San Diego, CA. Period of performance for the maintenance and license renewals is 1 Oct 97 through 30 Sep 98. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed proprietary software licenses and software maintenance must indicate their interest within 5 days of this announcement. Any party interested in receiving the pricing request shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-256-9414 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals. All responses to the pricing request from responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the award of the contract. The resultant contract will be firm, fixed price.
