Average page per document is 10, range is 20 to 20+. Indexes are per document but image files should be one page per file. (2) What is the reason for 25% of the documents being considered unscannable using batch scanning methods? Paper type & quality would require special handling inserted into sleeve, etc.) as traditional batch scanning mechanism could be destructive to the original(s). (3) Where is the index information located on the first page, etc.? Most of the index info can be "learned" from the first page or two of each document type. Certain index info would come from supplementary data (supplied) along with instructions on matching documents to index data. Index info would be generated and deliverable with the images (stated in solicitation). (4) Are these bound books? No. Estimated contract duration is 90 days.
