Statement of Work: SCOPE: The scope of this State ment of Objective is for the contractor to provide maintenance and repair/replacement services, to the Nondestructive Inspection and Testing Section SA-ALC/TIELN for the Radiographic Film Digitizing System (RFDS). PURPOSE: The purpose of this statement of objectives is to ensure the continuous operation of the RFDS to directly support nondestructive radiographic inspection of mission-critical workloads for the F100/T56 and T39 engines, C5A/B/T38/F5/T37/A-37/F15 and F16 aircraft. DURATION: The term of this contract shall be for one (1) year and commences on the date of contract award. REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall furnish all equipment, tools, parts, labor and travel necessary to maintain and repair the RFDS. EQUIPMENT: The contractor shall mai ntain and repair/replace the following equipment: (a) Film Scanner (b) File Server (c) Uninterrupted Power Supplies, (d) Computer Assemblies -- Components and Accessories (e) Computer Monitors -- Subcomponents and Accessories (f) Computer Printers Subcompo nents and Accessories (g) Cables/Control Units/Switches (h) Other equipment provided by the contractor with the RFDS. SOFTWARE: Software maintenance and repair shall consist of periodic upgrades for all resident software of the RFDS and modification/de bug of software as latent defects or problems occur. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE: The contractor shall provide for four (4) on-site preventive maintenance inspections of the RFDS. One inspection shall be performed at the beginning of each quarter for the on e year term of this contract. Preventive maintenance inspections shall consist of software diagnostics, scanner calibration, checkout of all hardware components, connectivity confirmation, and other inspections/calibrations necessary to maximize the oper ation of the RFDS. Preventive maintenance inspections shall be coordinated with the contracting officer or the SA-ALC/TIELN Technical Representative. EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE: The contractor shall respond within 24 hours to any request for emergency servi ce after being contacted by the Contracting Officer or the Technical Representative. Response by the contractror shall be either in person or via telecon. Once appraised of the problem, the contractor shall correct the problem and render the RFDS operat ional within five (5) working days. REPORT: At the conclusion of an on-site service call for either preventive maintenance or emergency service the contractor's representative shall complete a Service Report. This Service Report shall include details o n the nature of the problem, corrective action, materials required for the repair or maintenance, time required for problem correction or maintenance, and the names of the responsible contractor's representative and Contracting Officers Technical Represen tative (COTR). Warranty: All materials, parts, repairs and labor shall be warranted for ninety (90) calendar days from date of maintenance or repair. This warranty shall be in effect in the event this maintenance contract has terminated. ESCORTS: The contractor's representative shall give at a minimum a one (1) working day notice of an impending visit for preventive maintenance or emergency repair services. The appropriate response date will be 01 Oct 1997. The anticipated award date will be 01 Oct 97. All responsible sources solicited may submit a quotation which shall be considered.
