The Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Randolph Air Force Base, Texas is interested in conducting a dialogue with industry, via the Internet, on a wide variety of base operating support service functions. This command spends more than $700 million per year on service contracts. This amount will increase as we look to outsource a larger portion of our non-mission essential functions. The purpose of this initiative is to gather suggestions and gain a new perspective from the business community on how AETC can most effectively structure its requirements to achieve savings and deliver quality services. Businesses are encouraged to respond with respect to the structure of groupings including how they may participate at the prime contracting level.
