The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to competitively procure Emergency Room and Acute Care Clinic Services to be performed at the Naval Hospital, Cherry Point, NC. The contractor will establish, operate, and manage a Level III emergency room at the Naval Hospital. In addition, the contractor will establish, operate, and manage an acute care clinic to provide primary and acute healthcare during required hours of operation. Services will be provided to TriCare Prime enrollees and to non-enrollees. The acute care clinic will provide 40 appointments per weekday, 56 appointments on Saturdays, and 24 appointments on Sundays and holidays. Services will be provided during a basic period of 1 April 1998 to 30 September 1998. The solicitation will contain option provisions for up to 54 months thereafter. A firm fixed price contract with incentive award provisions will result from the solicitation. Technical and price proposals will be required. All responsible sources may request a solicitation and submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government.
