Air Systems Command intends to negotiate an order with Sikorsky
Aircraft Corporation, North Main Street, Stratford, CT 06601 for a
study to support the definition and integration of an H-60 common
cockpit into a CH-60 aircraft. Sikorsky is the developer and sole
manufacturer of the Army UH-60 and the Navy SH-60 and was the only
source capable of performing the CH-60 vertical replenishment
demonstration which was awarded on 2 April 1997. This study will
include the evaluation of flight avionics systems, instrument panels,
component layout and installation of an H-60 common cockpit into the
CH-60 aircraft. Sikorsky is the only source with the manufacturing and
engineering expertise and the technical data required to perform this
